  • Essex Class — Aircraft Carrier

    BMP-1 (Bronevaya Maschina Piekhota)
    The BMP-1 had firing ports and vision blocks to enable its passengers to fire from within the vehicle. It also featured an automatic loading 73-mm turret-mounted gun firing fin-stabilized HEAT missiles.
     
    M-113
    The M-113 went into production in the early 1960s. With the ability to carry 10 troops plus crew, an all-terrain speed of 40 mph and a range of 300 miles, it was an immediate winner.
     
    T-54/55 (USSR)
    Top speed 30 mph. Range: 250 miles. The tank's V-12 water-cooled diesel engine gives a power-to-weight ratio of 14.44 horsepower per ton.
     
    Boeing B-52 Stratofortress
