M14 Rifle
The rugged, accurate M14 rifle had plenty of stopping power with the standard NATO 7.62 mm round.

M16
The M16's innovative features include light metal alloy and plastic construction, a simple gas reload system and the use of 5.56 mm ammunition. That allowed soldiers to carry twice the amount of ammunition for the same weight of 7.62 mm rounds.

FN FAL
The FN FAL gave good service to the Australian army in the jungles of Vietnam, to Israeli troops during the Six-Day War and was used by both sides in the fight for the Falkland Islands.
