In Courage under Fire Lt. Colonel Nathaniel Serling (Denzel Washington) is asked to review the posthumous candidacy of the first woman (Meg Ryan) for a Medal of Honor. Researching her death, he begins to wonder if the witnesses of her death are telling the truth. Meanwhile he is forced to deal with his own fatal mistakes.

Raid on Entebbe tells the true story of Operation Entebbe, in which a jet carrying an international mix of passengers is hijacked by pro-Palestinian revolutionaries in 1976. The jet lands in Entebbe, Uganda where it becomes obvious that the terrorists will use the hostages for the release of terrorists worldwide.

The Red Badge of Courage is the movie adaptation of Stephen Crane's like-named novel about a Civil War Union soldier who struggles to find the courage to fight in the heat of battle.

The Desert Rats is a 1953 American war film about the World War II siege of Tobruk where a British Army officer put in charge of a battalion of Australian troops fights the German Army.

The Guadalcanal Diary shows the intense fighting on Guadalcanal less than one year after the actual events. The movie is based on the dispatches of correspondent Richard Tregaskis, who takes us through the preparations, landing and initial campaign on Guadalcanal during WWII, focusing on the characters and back stories of the Marines.

In Von Ryan's Express Sinatra is Col. Joseph Ryan, an American pilot shot down and imprisoned in Italy during WWII. When Italy surrenders, Ryan leads the prisoners in a daring escape, but they are soon recaptured by the Nazis. While being transported to another prison by train, the prisoners take control of the train in an attempt to get to neutral Switzerland.
