Play Dirty (1969) WWII

In this 1969 film, British Petroleum executive (Michael Caine) is assigned to help the British Army with port duties for incoming fuels in Northern Africa. He is given the official rank of captain in the British Army and is later reassigned to accompany a group of convicts from the U.S. on a mission to destroy a Nazi oil depot.

Produced a year after the Dirty Dozen was released, the movie mimics the struggle between captain and unruly crew. With the Vietnam War in full swing during this time, the movie has a cynical, anti-war attitude.
