The Bridge at Remagen (1969) WWII

great santini

In the final days of WWII, Allied army forces struggled to take control of the last standing bridge across the Rhine River, in order to lead an attack against German forces. This true story details the perspectives of both the Americans and Germans and their battle for control.

Released in 1969 amidst a sea of Western box office hits, The Bridge at Remagen mimics the similar grit and anger of many Western shootouts. Full of explosions and gunfire, the two hour flick is never short on fighting and special effects.
