What to Wear

Fighters are required to wear a protective groin cup during all matches.

Fighters are required to wear a mouthpiece.

Fighters are not allowed to wear wrestling shoes.

Fighters may lightly (as determined by the referee) place petroleum jelly only upon their faces, but neither oils nor greases may be used on any part of the competitor's body.

Fighters’ fingernails and toenails must be cut and trimmed prior to any bout.

Gloves will be provided.

Under no circumstances shall apparel or equipment which includes metallic and/or hard plastic and/or any edge or surface which could cause extraneous injury to the fighters be allowed.
