The farther you get in the competition, the more liberal the rules become.

Final Round Rules
The farther you get in the competition, the more liberal the rules become. For instance, in early rounds competitors start on their knees and no leg locks are allowed. However, the more you win and show mastery of basic skills, the more you can use advanced techniques.

Fouls
Some of the fighters are due to ship out for Iraq the day after the competition. That makes it even more important for the fighters to play by the rules and not commit any fouls.

Mouthpieces required; Gloves will be provided.
