A weapon so scary that just the idea of it is as powerful as the weapon itself.

Ever since we dropped "Little Boy" on Hiroshima in 1945, the world has been held in thrall and in fear of the bomb. It's inspired wars (both hot and cold), movies and even fashion.

Nine nations have it (we think), more want it; and the haves are willing to go to great lengths to make sure the have-nots never get it.
